Coralcola Poem by Justin Gildow

Coralcola

The sea is quiet tonight
The tropical birds look to begin flight
For they have a long journey over the sea tonight

Tranquility
Peace
Serenity
How wonderful those things are
From where I am

In Coralcola
I'm sitting in a chair
Outside my hut
I enjoy the view from where I sit
All around me are island torches that have been lit
Lighting up the night for me quite a bit
I'm having a glass of fruit punch
While eating a banana
The gardens where the bananas grow in Coralcola grow in bunches

I'm enjoying my night outside my hut
With food and drink
In Coralcola
What would make this night complete would be seeing a shooting star or supernova
But if that doesn't happen
Then I'll be happy with the Northern Star
And the many other stars in the sky
As well as enjoying the view of the moon
In Coralcola
