Call it Coronavirus or COVID-19
Only ensure you don't catch it
Read about it and be well informed
Offer help to those in need -but
No need to put yourself at risk
Avoid crowded places and be safe
Visits across countries should be limited
It is a pandemic, no country is safe
Robust countries are even struggling
Underdeveloped countries, where lies yourfate?
Say a prayer for the world and God will save us.

Opportunists taking advantage, be warned
Refrain from that. This is a trying moment

Cover your mouth when you cough
Often as you can wash your hands and use sanitizers
Value your life and keep the distance
Ignore all these, and the spread is on
Death toll goes high, and you may be next

No vaccines, no cure! Knows no boundary.
Impositions and restrictions, the way to go
Not to violate freedom, let's be reasonable
Everyone is at risk so stay in check
Thousands of people, dead and gone
Every now and then new cases are recorded
Ever wondered when this will end
Not today! But eventually, we will conquer!
