Cotton Candy Sky

Life was sweet,
If only for a moment,
Under that cotton candy sky

A powder blue canvas
With pink sugar clouds,
And the dying sun's blazing light

Forgotten were the worries,
Gone was the forgotten

So lovely,
So innocent...

So short.
Leaving as fast as it came

Though life was sweet,
If only for a moment,
Under that cotton candy sky.
