Gazing from the sky above, through the clouds below
Hearing sounds
Muffled voices,
What would we want to know
Would it be a wonder, watching all the seasons pass
Still of winter,
Autumn’s fall,
Smells of Springs fresh grass
A day could last forever, no longer our concern
The flower petals briefly open,
Close,
Life’s secrets learned
Much too occupy our time, so many things to be
The world just keeps on turning,
Moving on,
What should we see
Would we if we could, follow lives of those behind
Could it be so hard,
To watch them change,
Would thoughts be blind
Watching all that comes alive, all which needs to grow
All the change,
Every difference,
Brings our heart a glow
Thoughts of anger or deep sadness, no longer remain
When those we’ve known,
Are warmed with love,
Our heart might feel the same
We are no longer with the lives, of which we look upon
Would it be ours,
We might wonder,
To send our feelings on
Blowing secret whispers, through the gentle summers wind
Hardly noticed,
By the world,
Yet touching from within
Might we send a snowflake down, to gently cool a cheek
No two alike,
Just as the love,
We send it down to seek.
When they raise their eyes to us, emotions sadly bent
Asking for an answer,
Will they find
The Love we sent
Things we wonder of today, may really not seem so odd
Our current thoughts,
In terms of now,
Not those we’ll share with God
