Courtnie #6 Poem by Kyle Abell

Courtnie #6

Rating: 5.0

Just run away,
Just keep it going,
Any other way,
To keep from showing.

But I found you,
In the forest you hide,
My world is blue,
Away you slide.

I saw you close,
For then you slithered away,
Enough of all the shows,
I'm going to catch you today.

In love I fell,
Only with you,
You are hidden in your shell,
Bad things I shoo.

For you,
I have fallen,
My world is less blue,
My love... Will you fall in?

My dear,
My sweet,
Are you there?
Come get me.

For now I am running,
From love and all,
Because you are shunning,
The one who had to fall.

I yell from the rooftops,
Your name I scream,
Looked through the shops,
Ways of sadness I lean.

Now I cry,
The blade is away for now,
Maybe I should die,
I mean I am just a fat cow.

For here I lay,
Waiting for death,
For me you came right away,
I don't know if anything is left.
