Cousin Bobbie Poem by Angelina DeCarles

Cousin Bobbie

Rating: 5.0

I lost you, I lost my cousin,
On that gloomy Christmas day.
The day was supposed to be full of happiness,
but instead was full of dismay.

I was so happy when I ran down stairs that Christmas morn,
And when my mother told me you had died it felt like someone
jabbed me with a thorn.

I lost you, I lost my cousin
On that Christmas day.
So tell me cousin Bobbie why do I still feel so depressed,
about your death.
