Cousin Lily Poem by Yvonne Rautenbach

Cousin Lily

Cousin Lily comes to stay
She fairly takes my breath away
Escaping from her earthy flat
All got up in her ivory hat
Pure and clean but likes a drink
Favourite colour green I think.
Waving gently, heart of gold
Cousin Lily breaks the mould.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
