Coyle is still a wonderful town
It’s in Oklahoma, you know
Long since reached its prime
But a unique place in which to go
Old buildings are still there
But some of them barely are
A country school still standing
One of the oldest there by far
Sure does put you back in time
To see the façade so distinctive
A water pump sends a message
A lesson in history to receive
Some towns just seem to have
A personality for many years
You can almost hear the cries
Of ghostly unshed tears
You can hear children laughing
As they dash around in play
Coyle, Oklahoma is a place
You’ll wish that you could stay!
