Cracker Poem by Dan Brown

Cracker

A whole ten years as a furniture piece
and in our hearts for a lifetime at least.
You left us early and it’s so unfair
but wherever I look I’ll see you there.

My one regret is not saying goodbye
and letting that favourite sleeping dog lie.
