Creations Signpost Poem by James Tipp

Creations Signpost

The Celtic View Creation Signpost.

Creation is Gods cathedral, his masterpiece of beauty,
Have we forgotten the miracles of our everyday experience
Our industrial past has removed us from natures daily contact
We assume we know how it all works forget the mystery.
Our reality is in fact far more real, far bigger than we thought.
It is endless in termsof time and distance, the cosmic infinity.
Still our vision is so small, so contained, so defined and beautiful
Here we can see the hand of God writ large, but we see only ourselves
Or out of date theology that offers do0gam and doctrine, unchallenged.
No miracles just explanations, that deal in anthropomorphic theories.
No room for 'other', the unexplained, the spiritual, cant see it don't believe it.
The nut containing the tree, the sperm and egg with coded DNA,
The mystery of the migrating birds, the speech of dolphins and whales
Surround by such a wealth of as yet unexplained mystery, we are blind.
