Creativity At Its Zen Poem by Sumita Jetley

Creativity At Its Zen

In a village, veiled by hills and sky,
Lived a Sufi mystic, wisdom's ally.
His art, a dance of color and light,
Mirrored the soul, a breathtaking sight.

A young artist came, with a troubled heart,
Seeking the secret to the creative art.
'O Mystic, guide me, ' he pleaded with grace,
'To find consistency in creativity's space.'

The Sufi smiled and took him to see,
A stream that flowed, wild and free.
'See how it moves, in an endless dance,
Changing, yet constant, like a trance.'

'Your art, ' he said, 'is like this stream,
Ever-flowing, a living dream.
True consistency lies not in form,
But in showing up, through calm and storm.'

The artist saw, in the water's gleam,
The truth of the Sufi's wise regime.
Creativity, like water, forever in motion,
A boundless, ever-changing ocean.

From then on, he embraced each day,
With art that changed in its own way.
In the Sufi's lesson, he found his key,
To a creative life, vast and free.
