Cries Full Of Water Poem by Anna Boukna

Cries Full Of Water

Rating: 5.0

Walls closing in,
She's trying to breathe,
Her body is struggling,
Against the weeds,

She is drowning...

Her hairs floating,
Creatures lurk around,
Oblivious and swimming,
To her helpless sounds,

Help her, save her...

She's trying to reach the top,
Her hands failing,
Begging her body not to stop,
To continue breathing,

She is drowning...

She's sinking, sinking below,
The sea continuing to flow,
Cackling as she swallows,
The water around her now deep and hollow,

Its too late now...

Finally she reaches the ground,
Her body giving up,
Silence looms around,
Her heart has stopped,

She has drowned...
