Crimson Sky - A New Hope Poem by Derry Dose

Crimson Sky - A New Hope

Let me fly in the crimson sky,
In the absence of the judgmental crowds,
The gentle breeze of the cooling air,
I'm in the world of endless flair,
Every human has some dream,
Some like me just wanna soar and gleam,
Feel the freedom of the open space,
Let me sing your lovely praise,
Break the chains of your cage,
Wanna join the story of your tale,
Even if I become lost and frail,
The people have many boring chores,
They have ignored my lively voice,
I know I'm a rogue with no laws,
My smiles sparkle and joy is cause,
When the people I have the bond,
Get along and they share their peace,
Wrap me in a warm embrace,
Fly with me in the crimson space.
