Cross My Fingers Poem by Jameaka Shibles

Cross My Fingers

Rating: 3.8

Cross my fingers and hope to die. All my life has been a lie. As all the faith slips through my fingers. The pain of us still lingers. At night I lay awake. Dreaming of drowning in a lake. In the morning. I wake with sounds of mourning. My life has been filled with pain. Even though it's all I seem to gain.
