Cruel Reality - Poem by Simon Freegar

Move to the rhythm ignore your pain.
Surrounded by victims who are here to gain.
Chemical satisfaction rules the day.
We feel the pain in our own way.

Loose control because it's a cruel reality.
Sell your soul join the majority.
Connect with strangers open your heart.
Come morning your back to the start.

The euphoria turns to sorrow.
As you realize it is almost tomorrow.
A ray of light caresses your face.
Who are the people in this strange place.

Go down deeper into nothing.
Loosing all meaning and hoping for something.
U feel distant and alone in this new place.
How did you become so lost?

You bloody disgrace!
