'Crushed By Shadow' Poem by jordan scown

'crushed by shadow'
the darkness...
creeping, snaring, closing in
running to find light to escape
this darkness.
the darkness saying
'come to the hands of darkness'
scared i run more
why...this torment?
how is this possible?
the atmosphere has changed
i dont want to be a memory
i want to sop this darkness
where is the light?
why?
help me!
i know something no someone high up
is above this darkness.
then i see these demons
come from the darkness
trying to grab me
then two words came from me
'help Lord'
then from outside the darkness
a pillar of fire,
the darkness decomposed
the demons were burned by this Holy fire.
God gave me a second chance
and
He said 'call upon me in song, speak too me in prayer, never let evil thoughts speak to you'
then the pillar of fire left
and
i was in paradise with the Holy one.
