Softly my love I hand you my heart,
Over again we touch and we spark..
Once again they try to tear us apart,
No force may ever mend my scars..

Yet again I stand here alone..
On this cold lonely road
Underneath the stars

Why aren't you there?
I scream your name oh so loud!
Listen to my desperate cries!
Listen as they claim my life!

Beneath your window I lay low..
Every night I'm here and yet,
God never seems to let you know..

For now I feel it, time to leave.
Oh now you wish for me to come! ?
Remember the times I was there? ?

Memories now flood your mind,
End it now and save your time!

Begging for me to be there?
Underneath the stars with you?
Too little, too late sweetheart!

I never foresaw myself keeping us apart..

Tested my love and now it's gone,
