Crying Master Poem by Olorode Olorunleke

Crying Master

Don't cleave the tears
My heart weeps to hear you scream
So loud that I can rarely bear
Not for the love so share
But for the unity so entangled

For God so love the world
That he gave His Son
This is the mystery we are so birthed

Could it have been awesome?
For the Son not to have come
Born of the Virgin Mary
Died under Potius Palliate

That our existence would have stayed matured
In the worship of the things our hands so made
God never made a mistake
But our greed has brought us here

Whether Orthodox, Pentecostal and Aladura
One in Christ should we be
As our assignment is one
Go yeah into the world and make of me disciples

This is the order that binds us all
To heal the sick, help the needing and deliver the captives
Why is this division?
Making our savior to cry deeply

Come brethren and let's reason together
For the tasks ahead are enormous
The harvest is near, seeds are few
But labourers are relenting

Let's not allow the temptations of Christ
Be the reasons for our division
Let's make Him whose cry is aloud
Has a heartfelt smile
That his church is growing
And the gate of hell does not prevail.
