Crying To God Poem by Cindy Wyatt

Crying To God

The best part about crying
is knowing that God hears
He comforts those who mourn
and dries away their tears
God is ever near the brokenhearted
and grief stricken
He will revive us
and with His spirit quicken
When we call on Him
He promised He would answer
as He hears our humble plea
with sweet consolation and reassure
He'll lead us safely on
and show the way
to give grace through every trial
and keep us in His hand always

Isaiah 30: 19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shall weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.

I'm not religious but the interpretation of Isaiah is very apt and well written. I wish I had your faith. You're a darn good writer.
