Curtains Poem by Lee Sharon

Curtains

When everything is dark you open the curtains.
Like a shade that blocks the ray from passing through.
And a starting of a glow that pierces through the darkness,
which spreads entirely.

The room which was once gloomy, lifeless and quiet.
Now that is with cheers, life and music.

Ray shines from the curtains,
that falls onto the table.
Your eyes direct you to the curtains.
And you draw it further.
A life outside of it,
you see.

From curtains you drew it apart,
is like an amazing discovery,
you find it behind the them.
Even though, it is like an everyday experience.
but still you are sure to find a new behind it.
