Cycle Poem by Jon Holloway

Cycle

Rating: 2.5

Cycle

Cold black lightning reaches upwards to a grey sky
Darkness overwhelms
Black and white

Warm green patterns spread along the damp black
Light swells
Green and blue

A light breeze sends waves through the dense green
Warmth spreads
Yellow and blue

Red, orange and yellow fall to form a crisp blanket
Brightness fades
Orange and Black

Black, green, yellow, orange
Black, green, yellow, orange
