Cycles Poem by Werner Klokow

Cycles

Like tumbleweed in the wind
Dust of those long gone
Forged in the light bright white
Of my soul lies the answers
Completing questions of cycles
My love and my tears were and still
Carries me through the world made
By me... and you... like dust

Trust in me for I am your eyes
Laugh with me for I am ignorant
To words we bind our love
Today I see my own crumpled pages
My hand which extended my soul
Fills in the gaps I never saw until
You simply smiled at me and extended
Your thoughts unsayable
Like tumbleweeds in the wind
