Día Dubh_God 'That Is' Black Poem by Chris Lane

Día Dubh_God 'That Is' Black

Rating: 2.0

She was all that and more
Just about the opposite
Of Día really!

Those Gallic, Bretonic monks:
Most lightly, did the best they could
Transcribing an oral language, into a written one.

Inadequate terms of black and white.
Capturing only what their Judeo-Christian view
Could translate or tolerate. Still we know,
So much remained scribe-less
