Dad Poem by becky tuffs

Dad, you have been gone so long,
But your death, still seema so wrong,
My life has never been the same,
Since that day God called your name.

You always meant the world to me,
But now your flying, now your free,
If God would grant me just one wish,
It would be, for just one last kiss.

You see dad, i love you so,
Thats all i want you to know,
So i must live through this pain,
Until that day we meet again.

And on that day God calls me home,
I will never ever be all alone,
With arms open wide ill walk through the door,
Take you in my arms and weep no more.

I wrote this poem for my mum, about her dad, my grandad, who she loves and misses so much
