you and me
together
everywhere we go
sharing the same things
as i follow as i grow

you play sports with me
and you take me in your car
we keep driving
until we reach afar

i remember you took me to Sea World
and it would have seemed so far away
but, with you in the car with me
time flew like we were on a speedway

you have been for me as ive grown
now, i will always love you for this
i am saddened just a little
for the inches you had to miss

there are many moments you have just for me
the moments that we get together
i will cherish on and on
dad and son we have to be but, we are friends forever and forever on
