Daddy or daddy where are you?


I lay my head on my pillow and i have so many sleepless nights.



My mind wonders where you are why arent you in my life.



Or better yet what did you do to get put out of my life.



I am caged by my fears from seeing the essence of your face.



Momma has told me about all the times you and her use to fuss and fight.



She even told me about the times you got arrested for selling dope.



You left my life without a way to be found now as i sit back and think i wonder are you dead or alive?



Are you locked in jail deprived of seeing the sun light, do you have a new name or a new family?



Or better yet are you just hiding from your responsibility?



As i thought about my life an ocean of tears arose from my eyes

and i began to cry.



What if ever thing mama said was a lie?



I will no longer let what she said control my life.



I will find you soon some day before you die.
