My daddy likes to drink beer,
he likes to drink it when hes playing his game top gear,
but sometimes when he looses,
he abuses,
and thats why my mummy left.
And then one day i was in my room,
and i hear my daddy banging on the door
I’m to scared to leave this floor
I don’t want to go out,
He is banging and there’s a lot of
Shout! Shout! Shout!
I don’t know wot to do
I am feeling a little blue.
My daddy’s banging on the door
He is trying more and more
What shall I do?
Should I let him in?
I fear, what will happen if I let the man in
What will he do?
Where will he go?
I am starting to hate my daddy
More and more
Daddy please leave
Mummy’s coming back
She will be seen.

I would like to translate this poem
Ok I am really lost in this. Why is the door locked, and why is he banging on the door and shouting? And where is your mother? The surrealness of this poem gives the reader a haunting shiver that all is not well in in the home, and that there is abuse permeating the fear of letting him in. Am I right? Anyway, why are you dressed up as a fairy? Even though this poem asks questions, it is written with emotional feelings from the heart and dictated by the soul. Thank you for sharing. Hugs, Barbara
