Daddy's Little Girl. Poem by Taylor Fontaine

Daddy's Little Girl.

Listening to the sound of his boots against the wood floor
as he walked out the door to work.
I almost cried because
I miss when he would give me a kiss goodbye before he
left every night.
Even though I was almost always asleep
and didn't notice, but now I miss that and wish he would
still kiss me goodbye, just to show that he loves me.
I love my daddy so much.
Daddy's little girl will never give up on daddy.
Never.
