The melting of a memory
Persistently clocked
In the desert of life
Dripping down the sharp edge
of blocked stone
Hanging
from the limb of a dead tree
A landscape torn from the root of
sanity
No holding back the wave of
sand and shadow
Sucked invidiously down
Into weights of indiscernible
Gravity.
