Damage You Caused Poem by TaBresha Bozeman

Damage You Caused

The damage you caused
Left me speechless
When you let him climb on me
Gave him what I gave you
Like rewrapping a Christmas gift
But yet you judge and disgraced
The monster you have made me into
Sex will forever feel like rape in my eyes
No you can see what I see
For someone to rip you of your life
The life you once enjoyed
the one you can say you led
The decision you had broke our bond
The one we only shared
And that broke my switch of revenge
So the notch is set to on
And since we can no longer be the same
I choose not to live
For you made me a woman
but you also created the monster inside of me
Now I just want to rest in peace
Even if i had to rest forever
But deep inside love is still clear for you
But you have chosen the path of distrust for me
And you too also stole what was not given
but unlike the others I trusted you
But I'm always told you stop whining
And I'm selfish
Maybe its time I do something for me
And all I want to do I rest in peace
