Damnation/Salvation Poem by Neriza Gueta

Damnation/Salvation

Rating: 5.0

Rain poured heavily that night ⁣
as our limbs tangled into one. ⁣
'The Gods are mad at us, ' ⁣
I whispered to him. ⁣
He laughed a tender laugh⁣
and gave me a kiss⁣
soothing to the soul like a promise⁣
knowing that salvation⁣
is at hand.
