This damn strife
And the way it returns
Oh how it burns
Your touch is as salve
But one I can never have
To hold you one last time
Would make anything rhyme
The wind rushes by
I must wonder why
Must I feel the way that I do?

It didn't really flow quite right and some parts didn't really seem to fit in all that great, but I still got the meaning and the feeling of it. Good job!
