Not My Traditional Work Poem by vamp DJ La La

Not My Traditional Work

Rating: 5.0

'My Faded Little Heart'

I drew it there just to remind myself
Just so I wouldn't forget
That the one in my chest isn't gone
Just damaged
It's faded now
Nearly gone
But as long as I have you
This heart in my chest
Just might recover
Just might keep beating
And if this faded little heart should disappear
That would be just fine
Because you are all the reminder I need
To tell me that my heart is still there
Still beating
Still capable of love

Wonderful! It may not be your traditional style, but it certain has it. We poets can be eclectic if we like! Smiling at you, Tai
