Dance Poem by Michael Ernst

Dance

I sit in a vast darkness
That once was a home
Heart aching for her
Yet here I'm alone

Demon's dancing with pleasure
Enjoying the music of my pain
Choreographed by the memories
Tormenting my brain

But these dancing devils I shall vanquish
To the cold voids of space
And replace with the vision of an angel
That is my wife's face
