Denise. Poem by Michael Ernst

Denise.

Devoted her heart to a fool who was so blind
Everyday she gave herself to him, so loving and kind
Never demanding of him, only wanting his time
Inside he left her lonely, broke her heart, calloused her mind
Silently she cried for him, but she had to break the cycle
Ever wonder what to call such a fool, just call me Michael
