Dance Of Love Poem by Alfred Ramos

Dance Of Love

I know I can reach her
I know I can teach her
About the miracle of love
That’s why I took a chance
And asked her to dance
To show what dreams are made of
So I led her to the floor
Far away from the door
I put my arms around her
Hoped my magic would surround her
I looked into her eyes
Let the silence sink in like a surprise
And once I had her in my grip
I closed my eyes and bit my lip
I whispered soft and low
Into her ear I said let go
Let your spirit run free
Let the music be the key
Open up your heart
And let me be a part
We swayed in unison as one
I knew the hardest part was done
I knew I lit the fire
Her embrace was filled with desire
And so we danced the night away
Don’t want to sound like an old cliché
But let the cards fall where they may
I bet tomorrow I bring her a beautiful bouquet
