Spiraling in then spiraling out
The dance of the serpents
A miniature cosmos
That caresses my soul
Grandiose gestures
In the writhing of snakes
Forked tongues flicker around
Tasting the air and each other
A musky scent drifts up to me
Then the rasping music
Of scales rubbing scales
Plays with my ears
