Dance With The Devil Poem by Bill Simmons

Dance With The Devil

Rating: 4.3

She looked into the eyes of the Devil
But she could not see
He was handsome and daring, but his non caring
His deception, she could not see deceive

You had better run girl as fast as you can
He's hiding from you what he is of a man
But it's to late, green eyes she's fell in
And he knows, you just let him in

He takes your hand, leads you across the floor
The music starts playing like never before
As you dance and he twirls you around
He says you're the most beautiful woman he's found

You had better run girl as fast as you can
He's hiding from you what he is of a man
The crowd it gathers, this man never seen
The dance with the Devil so beyond belief

But it's to late your heart is locked in
The green eyes of the Devil your world he slips in
He plays his part for so is it his art
You're about to know all of a broken heart

You had better run girl as fast as you can
He's hiding from you what he is of a man
The Devils green eyes, just don't look in
Even if you want to, you can't make it end

The dance with the Devil has already begun
To late for the one heart, to late to run
Green eyes of deception, you have let him in
What he really is, you will know in the end.
