Dancing With The Devil Poem by destiny hartman hartman

Dancing With The Devil

i lay at night with whispers in my head as the snow rains down upon the grass glistening in the moonlight beneath the star lit sky, i dream awake but with my body in a slumber of his grizzly face and his red eye wonders.

yet, still i ponder over his smile that draws me in, again, and again. a death defying tale is where he is from a deep and dark hole and a soul? he has a ton, but none are his.

i sit up to find him infront of me ready to take the lead. a real lady killer in a literal since. a nightmare of broken hearts and dreams never past tense.

he grabbed my hand and pulled me close. he whispered in my ear 'i like you most', i tried to resist but its a literal hell, i tried and tried but i still fell.

into his arms in to his grasp, my final breath i will take at last,
cry not for me angels above i promise im dancing with the devil in love...
