Dandelion, Haiku Poem by Mark. A Heathcote

Dandelion, Haiku

petticoats
and pear tree blossoms and then
landscapes hoary white

*

luminous clouds
grow into a forest tree
roots and canopy

*

rat-a-tat-tat
hollowing out a tree nest
January to June

*

courting bees
eyes that capture the world
hibiscus flowers

*

trees worship the sun
their leaves give reverence
daily wave and bow

*

luminous clouds
grow into a forest tree
roots and canopy

*

bittersweet earrings
on a climbing winter vine
sunny embers

*

spring a frugal horn
duality of love and hate
rubies bittersweet

*

profound suffering
the joy that winter brings
romance bittersweet

*

sorrow and beauty
perfectly imperfect
bittersweet

*

weeding dandelions
after a deep winter frost
taproots to my heart

*

weeding dandelions
after a deep winter frost
taproots to my soul

*

rosary beads
a deluge through your fingers
morning prayers

*

lapis lazuli
rosary beads for the world
virginal dewdrops

*

winding riverbanks
a mossy tree avenue
one-way street

*

winding riverbanks
a mossy tree avenue
one-way traffic

*

climbing a maple
I found a sacred bee
a honey sun
