Daniel Poem by Stephanie Gereg

Daniel

Not enough words to describe
The depths of his mind,
Or size of his heart.

His deep rich laughter,
Echoing through my spirit,
Rejuvenating, refreshing, revitalizing.

Family, Friends, neighbors, or strangers
They always come first,
He’ll never say go away.

Expressive eyes glowing,
Or dark with thought,
Evil vs. Good the constant fight,
Good does prevail.

His loving touch,
Heating my skin,
Making me shiver and grin.

The passion flows,
Through his music and his soul,
His words reach deep, shaking my core.

Life without him would be so glum,
Flowers would dry up,
The sun wouldn’t rise,
There would always be a tear in my eye.

Words escape me,
I do him no justice,
Experience him you must,
But be prepared,
He’ll leave his mark.
