Dark 3: Under Thy Light Poem by Ahmad M. Bassioni

Dark 3: Under Thy Light

Under thy light in the midst of doom
Hell on this earth brought by thy race
Over itself through the same womb
Turned love to a shameful disgrace.

But I, in thy arms feel safe and sound
Away from your world's madness
Watching those ghost ships around
Hunting those hiding is sadness.

No sun appeared since then
No light gave hope to none
They all ask us when?
"You're hopeless and it's done."

To foreshadow what yet to come
Three days of dark autumn.
