In a blink of an eye you can be
An angel all for us and all at once
Just as well you can change
In the devil with fury in your eyes
The hate and envy in your voice

Look back into your soul
See the kindness that you hide
The love and passion in your heart
Still you wonder with hate

Repent from your sins
Recall your past and let it all go
As you go along your merry way
Just maybe you can be free

You look at me and anger is all you see
Your disgrace in what you think I am
Never seeing the girl I have become
Just holding on to my past so long gone by

Stop the blame you so shamelessly give
Bring me the man you are inside
Release the love, passion and joy
I want you no one else
