There is darkness all around
Yet I feel at home
Just a lonely heart, throbbing sound
Freezing air & charging iPhone

No light, nothing bright, except
Glimmering smile & glistening eyes
Bruised yet kind soul
Wrapping itself to heal

Aching to love
In a broken world
Not something somehow
But one thing, good as gold

Not being drugged to ecstasy
Losing yourself to fantasy
Stuck in this very reality
Is my dark destiny…
