Dark Man Poem by Mariah O'Brien

Dark Man

I can still feel you
Deep within my body
You've dragged me down a path
One in which my Angel can't reach me
I stood before you many times
Screaming to flee from you deep inside
You haunt me, in the darkest corners of my mind
I hear the darkness in your voice
The hot stickiness of your rancid breathe on my neck
Ice cold fingers touching where you should not
Once I bowed my head, broken like a toy for you
I feel hate, anger, shame, weakness because of you
You haunt me in the darkest corners of my mind
I comman you to stop my life is no longer yours.
I'm no longer under your demonic spell
I cast light on the path you made me walk.
Smiling with trumphet I see him there behind you.
Your own Dark Man will drag you to Hell.
