Dark Shades Of A Man Poem by KCSeven Seasons

Dark Shades Of A Man

Rating: 1.5

There's no telling what he'd do
because you ruined his heart like a damn fool
He always loved you no matter what you did
because if I lie and God forbid
you ought to be ashamed at what you said
Now go apologize to the man you love
because it's not coming from me but up above

It's not the sky, nor the rain
but it's God cursing your profane
So listen now and save yourself
before he turn you into a bookshelf
Don't take this the wrong way but you are wrong
so do the right thing and don't throw stones
Because believe me when I say that you're not alone

Tell him you're sorry and move on
because if he don't accept it, he's not the one
Kiss him, or hug him, choose either one
but remember to always have fun
even if he is so troublesome
when the days go cold and his bodys' numb
he'll remember what pain he put you through

A passionate piece I must admit. Written with heart and grit. Words that we, all should heed. If and when, our hearts bleed. Thank you for the read
