Dark Shadows - Poem by Aaron(AarionLee) Morris

Behold the darkest night
And endless abyss before your eyes
Embrace the terror open your arms
Laughter in the distance don’t be alarmed

The Dark Shadow of life
Of the present and the past
Haunting your dreams
Your future is cast

Darkness or light does it matter
You hunger for life complete disaster
Hanging by a thread to your sanity
Trying to hold on tight to reality

Eternal damnation in your eyes I see
Fighting for freedom so hard to believe
Clawing for success reaching for the stars
A dream in the night shows who you are

The Dark Shadows of life
Of the present and the past
Living your dreams
Will never last
