Dark Side
My heart looks outwardly normal
But inside it's an empty shell
It holds no love or happiness
Only a hurt that burns like hell
My efforts to try and fill it
With anything other than pain
Have always been unsuccessful
Cuz there's no sunshine where there's rain
Thus my heart remains in shadow
While my sanity trickles out
I give in and join the dark side
And learn what sadness is about
