Like a dark sky
I feel a deep sadness within;
Unrequited love,
dreams and expectations that
found no road to travel on.
Like cowboys and clowns waiting
for the next train out of town.
Sometimes I wear
a tear on my cheek bigger then
a dream waiting,
looking for a place to rest.
I take the tear and water my dream.
Take a pillow from my pocket
find a shady tree and call
it home.
