darkness larks in ever step i take
my fears follow me like a shadow
to strong to break..my eyes fill
with tears as the darkness grows
and my fear shows.haunting me
like a never ending ghost.paralized
almost to the point of a human post
no matter how fast i bike
its always one step behind ready to strike.
the darknes swallows me no matter
how hard i fight it never enough
to win and bask in the light
to feel the sun upon my face
or the wind in the middle of a race
it envelops me i cant break free
no longer does my soul belong to me
my fears have won darkness is all
that i will ever see
the light has gone darkness to strong
